Springer's Jewelers became an Official Rolex Jeweler in 1975 and, in 2023, unveiled a renovated Rolex showroom and watchmaking facility in Portsmouth.

For over 150 years, Springer's Jewelers has been a trusted name in fine jewelry and timepieces across New England. Founded in 1870, the store has built its reputation on integrity, craftsmanship, and a genuine passion for the art of horology. From its earliest days, Springer's has been committed to offering an exceptional experience to every guest who walks through its doors.

1925–1947: A Legacy Takes Shape

In 1925, the Springer family acquired the business, beginning a multigenerational chapter that would define the store's character for decades to come. By 1947, a new generation had stepped forward, deepening the family's commitment to fine jewelry and horological excellence. This era laid the foundation for the meaningful partnerships that would follow.

1974–1975: Becoming an Official Rolex Jeweler

Springer's partnership with Rolex began in 1974, and in 1975, the store was formally welcomed as an Official Rolex Jeweler and became part of Rolex's authorized network to present, sell, and maintain Rolex timepieces. This distinction reflects not only the quality of Springer's team and facilities, but also a shared dedication to the values that have defined Rolex for generations: precision, heritage, and enduring craftsmanship.

2000–2023: A Contemporary Chapter

Springer's Expands to the Seacoast

In 2000, Springer's Jewelers expanded to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, bringing its longstanding tradition of excellence to the Seacoast region. As part of the worldwide network of Official Rolex Jewelers, allowed to present, sell, and maintain Rolex timepieces, the Portsmouth location carries forward the same standard of care and expertise that has distinguished Springer's for generations.

A New Era in Portsmouth

In 2023, Springer's unveiled a fully renovated Rolex showroom and dedicated watchmaking facility at 100 Market Street, Portsmouth. The space was thoughtfully designed to honor the heritage of Rolex while offering guests an elevated, immersive environment in which to explore the world of Rolex.
