Rich in sentiment and symbolism, this Page Estate Collection Georgian necklace is crafted in 18K yellow gold and features a cobalt blue enamel heart pendant with a preserved hair compartment, a deeply personal detail characteristic of mourning and remembrance jewelry from the period.
The heart-shaped pendant is finished in vivid cobalt blue enamel and features a glass locket back containing a preserved lock of hair. A stylized snake motif connection, traditionally associated with eternity and enduring devotion, joins the pendant to the chain. Engraved accents, a single tsavorite garnet detail, and 12 seed pearls add intricate texture and color to the design.
The pendant is suspended from a classic fox link chain measuring approximately 17 inches, with an adjustable length and a plunger clasp. The necklace is accompanied by its original box.
