On Friday, June 7th, our Portsmouth store was filled with love, laughter, and community spirit as we hosted our Pride Party, a day that brought together fine jewelry, local art, and powerful purpose.
Held in collaboration with the New Hampshire Art Association (NHAA) and Seacoast Outright, this vibrant event honored Pride Month and the incredible LGBTQ+ individuals who make Portsmouth a welcoming, creative, and inclusive place to call home.
Art, Identity & Celebration
As part of the day’s festivities, Springer’s was proud to showcase Transcendence, a compelling art installation presented by the New Hampshire Art Association. This thoughtfully curated collection featured works by LGBTQ+ artists and allies, exploring themes of self-expression, resilience, identity, and love.
Guests had the chance to experience this powerful artwork in an intimate setting, right alongside our collection of fine jewelry. It was a beautiful reminder of how creativity and craftsmanship, whether on canvas or in gold, can tell stories that resonate deeply.
Giving Back to the Community
At Springer’s, we believe that celebrating love also means supporting it—and this event was designed to do both. As part of our commitment to community impact, we donated 10% of all purchases made during the Pride Party to our two incredible nonprofit partners: Seacoast Outright and New Hampshire Art Association.
-
Seacoast Outright continues to be a vital resource for LGBTQ+ youth across the region, offering a safe, affirming space for connection, advocacy, and empowerment.
-
NHAA supports local artists through exhibitions, education, and engagement, enriching the cultural landscape of New Hampshire and beyond.
Thanks to our customers and partners, we were able to give back in a meaningful way and help both organizations continue their important missions.
Pride with Purpose
The Pride Party was more than a shopping event, it was a celebration of visibility, inclusion, and what it means to be part of a supportive, thriving community. From first-time visitors to lifelong Springer’s customers, everyone who walked through our doors helped make the day truly special.
The energy in our Portsmouth store was electric, filled with music, conversation, and a shared sense of joy. We’re so grateful to our partners at NHAA and Seacoast Outright for bringing their passion and purpose to life with us, and to everyone who joined us for this heartfelt event.
A Lasting Legacy of Connection
As Maine’s oldest operating jewelry store, Springer’s has been honored to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments since 1870. With each event, each purchase, and each personal connection, we strive to uphold our founding values of craftsmanship, care, and community.
The Portsmouth Pride Party was a beautiful extension of that legacy, and a shining example of how even a single day can make a lasting impact.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your support helps us keep the spirit of Pride alive—not just in June, but all year long.
