Springer's-Bath located in historic downtown Bath at 76 Front Street (near the corner of Front and Centre) dates to 1879, and originally was called A.G. Page Co. Purchased in 1932 by Massachusetts entrepreneur Frank Freeman, the business was being operated by Freeman's widow when Springer's acquired it in 1979. This treasure of the mid-coast appears today as it did in 1870's with its original storefront, mahogany cabinets installed by the Page family, a 14-foot high ceiling, a checkerboard marble floor, and classic hanging brass lamps over the floor cases.

From its roots in Westbrook, to its rich history on Congress Street, to its distinctive branches north and south, Springer's has not only survived but flourished. For four generations Springer's has remained a family-owned business, which is precisely the reason that generations of customers repeatedly trust Springer's as their source for the perfect gift to mark important moments.
