Old Rules
When it comes to wedding rings, the old rules simply don’t apply. For him, get a ring that best reflects his lifestyle and personality. Oh yes, and in case you haven’t gotten the memo, matching rings went out with leisure suits. Today, even nontraditional metals like Titanium are very popular, while Platinum is now, without a doubt, the ultimate in wedding rings.

For Her
As for her wedding ring, it’s usually simply a search for the ring that looks the best with her engagement ring. Our site features many of our timeless classics, many of which will work with many different engagement rings. For even more intricate engagement rings, we can easily custom make a unique diamond wedding ring to perfectly match your ring...even if the engagement ring didn’t come from Springer's Jewelers.

Sound Advice
Regardless of the style ring you choose, make sure the metals are the same. Don’t mix a Platinum engagement ring with a white gold band. Rings of different metals will rub against each other and over time will start to wear each other out. Secondly, if you are set on a white metal, it’s important to note that white gold is not platinum. Over time, even the highest grade white gold will take on an off-white cast. Most white gold rings are plated in rhodium from the factory to make them as white as possible and, over time, the rhodium will wear off. If the cool white look of platinum is what you’re after, it is our advice to spend the extra money and get the real thing. After all, you're going to wear this ring for the rest of your life, so it’s well worth the investment.
